1610-1640/Japanese White Porcelain Blue and White Vase/"Imari Ware"/Sake Bottle

About the Item

I bought a very nice vase with white porcelain and blue dye. This is a sake bottle called Imari ware in Japan. Imari ware is a kiln with a long history that began in the 17th century in Saga Prefecture, Japan (a large island in the south of Japan, with a map of Saga Prefecture attached to the photo). Since the main shipping port for products was Imari (place name), it was called "Imari ware" in the consumption area. It is characterized by drawing blue pictures on white porcelain, and there are various designs such as simple pictures and gorgeous pictures. And this is a sake bottle made in the early Edo period (1610-1640) when Imari ware began. The flower pattern is wonderful. The overall balance is also nice. There are repair marks on the mouth. Also, the red circles have small chips. However, it is an inconspicuous place. It's very old, but it's in good condition without breaking because it was used carefully. A special box is also included. Please use it as a vase. We also set the price at a reasonable price so that many people will know the goodness of antiques. Why don't you show off to your friends around you?.
