Pair of English Antique Perfume Bottles with Sterling Silver Repousse Angels

About the Item

This large pair of antique perfume bottles was made by the well known silversmiths William Comyns & Sons Ltd. of England and date to approximately 1880 and done in the period Victorian style. The bottles are composed of clear glass with squared sides with sterling silver hinged lids and collars with repousse angel decoration. The bottles are clearly hallmarked with the maker's signature and the lion passant.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor structural damages. Some wear and small dents to the tops and collars and some rough edges to the stoppers and one locking clasp does not fasten.
