Set of Two Large Antique Molded and Hand-Finished Aqua Glass Spirits Bottles

About the Item

Set of two American ca. 1910 spirits/wine bottles, both aqua/turquoise tinted with hand-finished details. The one on the left was made via dip molding, evidenced by the glass discontinuity formed by the top of the dip mold. The one on the right is a post-bottom mold-blown bottle. It shows seams, but, like the bottle on the left, the neck and top were hand-finished revealed by the uneven bottle lip and trapped air bubbles. The aforementioned discontinuity (cloudiness) within the left bottle is a product of manufacturing, but there is additional wear (mineral residue, a couple of chips within the glass itself, along with scuffs / general wear). Both have been cleaned, so existing wear cannot be further rectified. Remains a wonderful set of early 20th Century American glass spirits bottles with good age and patina.
