Three Églomisé Reverse Painted Snuff Bottles with Magnolia and Orchid
About the Item
Our snuff bottles are topped with gemstone grade agate lids and 100% hand painted from within. The Chinese art of églomisé uses a very thin bamboo brush with a few strands of hair to apply watercolor on the inside walls of the blank glass bottle manifesting a different image on each side. This collection features three special pieces with birds on magnolia trees and butterflies above orchids. Delicate depiction and beautiful colors.
We want to emphasize that our bottles are painted free hand, unlike "painting over prints" or using stickers/decals which are the common practice for bottles this size. These are genuine, hand painted works of art. Comes with individual boxes.
