1960s Ceramic Vase Pitcher by Jean de Lespinasse France Nice

About the Item

Ceramic vase from the 60s with decoration created by Jean de Lespinasse and signed "JDL". In Nice, in the middle of the Second World War, Jean de Lespinasse created his workshop with his wife, specializing in the art of decorative ceramics until it closed after he died in 1979. Through his unique work, Jean de Lespinasse is today appreciated by collectors and is part of this movement of post-war French ceramic artists in the same way as Roger Capron or Robert Picault who built their reputation in the workshops of Vallauris or Saint-Paul de Vense.
