Art Nouveau Candy Glass Jar or Punch Bowl with Lid, Austria, circa 1910

About the Item

Lovely Art Nouveau candy glass jar from the early period in Vienna, circa 1910. This early 20th century large Austrian glass box was part of an old Austrian candy shop and impresses with an artfully shaped, slightly twisted glass body embedded into a great shaped base showing a great patina. The removable lid shows a lovely design with different embossed fruits and foliage. It can also be used as a stylish punch bowl or simply as decorative item.
