About the Item

A wonderful set of large lidded urn shaped apothecary style spice jars, made from a low fired type of unglazed terracotta or earthenware. These jars have loads of character and presence with multiple layers of old paint and read Sage-Aloe-Basil-Anice. Continental / European Estimated age early 20th century.
