Delft Blue and White Delft "Romano" Tobacco Jar
About the Item
Delft blue and white Delft "Romano" urn-shape tobacco jar with stepped brass lid, Netherlands, circa 1820. Inscribed “Romano” within a scrolling floral bordered cartouche. "BP" mark of the De Vergulde Blompot factory (1616-1841) is inscribed on the bottom. This jar is sold individually, but is one of a collection (see last image).
Note: Original/early finish on antique and vintage metal will include some, or all, of the following: patina, scaling, light rust, discoloration, and corrosion.
