French Apothecary Jar with Lid

About the Item

The jar maintains its original painted label in a beautiful orange and gold patina. While the jar is now empty the label translates from the French word Chiendent to Quackgrass in English. It was recommended as a treatment in gout and rheumatism. It is a beautiful jar to use in a bathroom, kitchen or just simply displayed in a bookcase.
