19th Century French Sevres style porcelain comport.

About the Item

A good quality late 19th Century French Sevres style porcelain comport, having gilded ormolu classical female mounted handles on either side, above a pierced collar, a cobalt blue ground with gilded decoration, inset painted panels depicting a classical maiden with a cherub flying above, musical instruments painted to the reverse, raised on an out swept porcelain and ormolu base.
