Antique English Majolica Figural Basket Planter or Jardiniere with Vine Decor

About the Item

This antique planter is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from England and date to approximately 1890 and done in the period Late Victorian style. The planter is composed of Majolica and done in a figural basket shape with and brown ground with cream accents to the rim and base and green vines running around the center. The interior is done in a vibrant lavender glaze.
