About the Item
This stylish 1950s ceramic vase or planter was hand-crafted by ceramicist Blanche Letalle for Faiencerie Saint-Clement, France. The piece boasts a lovely turquoise glaze with a basketry pattern. Blanche Letalle was a recognized French designer-ceramicist who worked for Faiencerie Saint-Clement from late 1930 to 1958. The vase is signed on the underside with the Saint Clement factory logo, France marking, and B. Letalle engraved name with a model number.
The ceramic jardiniere is in excellent condition, with no pronounced sign of wear.
Measurements: 8.69 in diameter (22 cm) x 6.88 in high (17.5 cm).
