18th century French Louis XIV Copper Seeds Tank or Urn, 1740s
About the Item
Exceptional 18th century French Louis XIV Period tank or urn made with copper. Used in the kitchens of French castles to store seeds or salt.
The plug is openable and has the writings of the year 1740 but also the Lily flower symbol of the French royalty and the initials of the master of the castle where the tank was.
Two large wrought iron handles.
Beautiful quality and condition.
