Japanese Bronze Pair of Geese Koros
About the Item
Japanese bronze geese koros,
Late 19th century.
The pair of goose koros or censors are in the form of geese with their long necks extended and their heads tipped up and their hollow mouths open. They are free-standing with large web feet. The wings which form the cover are finely detailed with feathers and a small hole for the smoke to exit.
Dimensions: 10 1/2 inches x length: 6 1/2 inches x depth 3 1/2 inches.
