Pair of French Spelter Urns
About the Item
Pair of spelter urns, the lid has a large flame finial with acanthus and foliate surrounding the perimeter below. Inside is a removable brass liner. A round reeded base with central raised rosette supports three ''legs'' decorated with acanthus and bell flower capped with ram's horns. The urn features cartouches connected with draped bell flower above elongated leaf foliate surrounding the lower perimeter and acorn finial; the entirety rests on a rojo and white marble base with round solid brass feet.
