1970s German Fat Lava Bay Ceramics Pottery Abstract Vase by Bodo Mans 92 45

About the Item

Vintage 1970s 'fat lava' bay pottery, ceramic, vase which was made in Germany. This large square vase has a wonderful deep green / brown base colour with an abstract design over-laid in a bright dark green both with a matt finish which contrasts with the brown glazed interior. The vase was designed by Bodo Mans and manufactured by BAY Ceramics, Germany. The vase has the manufacturers raised stamp on the base - BAY W. Germany and the design's model number of 92 45. The vase would make a wonderful feature in any home and is fully functional making it perfect for a large bouquet of flowers or on its own to add some colour and interest to a shelf or on a sideboard. In very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Dimensions: W: 22 cm D: 22 cm H: 45 cm.
