19th Century French Majolica Plate

About the Item

A 19th Century French Majolica glazed ceramic plate by H. B. Boulanger Choisy-le-Roi. Pattern of ferns and pink flowers beneath a large leaf, tied with a purple bow. Vivid shades of green, yellow, and pink on brown ground with ochre Greek key design around the rim. Pale blue glaze on the reverse side. Marked verso: H.B & Cie. Choisy-le-Roi.
