19th Century Green Glazed Food Jar with Hand Painted Floral Images

About the Item

A stunning green glazed antique ceramic Chinese food jar with three fanciful and expertly hand painted floral images all around the vessel. This piece fairly glows with history and it's vibrant color. Remarkable glazes like this one are really not seen in contemporary pieces. A perfect container for a large display of flowers. Since this piece is well over 100 years old, simply place a circular glass vase of appropriate height in the wide mouth to hold the water and flowers. A natural and striking centerpiece, for the summer or any season.
