20th Century Charles Rennie Mackintosh Vase "HouseHill" by Colle, Glossy

About the Item

The original design of this gorgeous Vase is by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Scottish architect, designer and painter. He was an exponent of the so-called Glasgow movement, at least the most prominent exponent of Art Nouveau in the UK. This item was designed in 1904, then reproduced by Colle Cristalleria in 1984. The vase should be considered a glass version of an other glass by the same author, but in silvered metal and reproduced in the same year by Argenteria Sabattini. Very good condition, as never used, entirely in glass. Presence of the brandmark Colle as shown in photo.
