Antique Pair of Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Green Enamel with Flowers

About the Item

A pair of symmetrical antique Japanese Meiji period enamel over brass vases. Each vase has an amphora shaped body and a narrow neck. Each vase is enameled with a polychrome image of blossoming flowers on jade green ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The necks and the bases of the wares are decorated with a foliage ornament made in the same technique.Unmarked. Circa: late 19th century Dimensions: H 4 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate. Overall good antique condition. Signs of wear and Age. Refer to photos.
