Berndt Friberg (1899-1981) was a Swedish ceramic artist particularly active in the 1950s. He was known for his mastery of form and his geometric and brilliant glazes. He is recognized, along with his mentors Wilhelm Kåge and Stig Lindberg, for bringing Gustavberg’s G-Studio into the golden age of pottery.
A piece both highly collectible and decorative at the same time.
