contemporary handmade ceramic candle holder RUPA
About the Item
This candle holder is part of the Rupa series, a collection of handcrafted pieces crafted without molds that absorb the contours and textures of the craftsman's hand, transforming it into an object with a clean and complex shape.
The Rupa candle holder are made to order, measuring approximately 25cm in height (measurement may vary slightly), although its production is continuous, the details of its shape will never be the same as the previous piece, thus configuring it as a unique object , this can be seen in the attached images, they all represent the Rupa candle holder but they are different pieces, in which the general shape is similar (single base with two stems) but the details transform them into exclusive pieces.
Its production is 100% manual, using the coiling technique. The modeling and finishing process takes a week, then the piece is left to dry for a few more weeks until it can go into the oven and be fired twice to reach its final color.
*Exterior: off white ceramic whit translucent glaze.
