Danish Silver Hand Hammered Vase by C. Heise

About the Item

Early 20th century continental 0.826 Danish silver hand hammered vase with beaded rims, inscriptions, and applied decorations by Christian F. Heise. Measuring 10 1/8'' in height by 5 1/2'' in diameter at the top and weighing 23.1 ozt. Bearing hallmarks as shown. Heise was the "Stadsguardien", or the master assayer for the country from 1904-1932. He also had a silver factory in Copenhagen.
