About the Item
The pair of Austrian ovoid-form porcelain vases and cover with sharply angular gilt handles, Ackermann & Fritze, Rudolstadt-Volkestedt. The bright pink body centered on either side with a pair of narrative scenes against a cobalt ground, with pale seafoam bands and sections, intricately tooled throughout, atop square bases, marked with underglaze blue factory mark and impressed inventory numbers 805 and 85.
