Large Chinese-Tibetan Gilt Bronze 'Offering' Temple Vase & Stand

Large Chinese-Tibetan Gilt Bronze 'Offering' temple vase & stand Impressive, well cast with numerous examples of geometric engraving, applied cast medallions and flowerheads. A unique feature of this vase is a continuous rim of skulls, the lower part with applied medallions representing buddhist treasures. Raised on an elongated reeded pedestal base. The underside of the vase has a honorary engraved Yongle style mark, not of the period. Complete with a later carved and pierced hardwood stand. The vase on the associated carved wood stand measures 25.5-Inches high with a 10-Inch diameter, 7.5-Inch diameter on the stand. The vase alone measures 24.5-Inches high with a 10-Inch diameter, 6.5-Inch diameter of the base.
