Large Light Amber Italian Cut & Etched Glass Chalice Shaped Vase or Centerpiece

About the Item

This very large and substantial light amber art glass vase is unsigned, but presumed to originate from Italy and dating to approximately 1950 and done in a Renaissance Revival style. This vase is hand-crafted and done in a light amber glass with cut and etched scrollwork with a floral motif around the upper rim and on the base. The body of the vase features three vignettes, one of a well dressed nobleman crossing a bridge, another of a castle and the last one of a large tree. Please note the dimensions below refer to the diameter of the upper rim, the base measures eight and a half inches in diameter.
