    Located in Bochum, NRW
Art Nouveau, Jugendstil, silver plated vase, Carl M Cohr, Denmark, 1900s. The metal body features an impressive floral decor frieze, hammered to the lower part, wheel cut decor to the glass rim. In excellent overall condition, some normal patina and wear accordingly to its age. Marked to the bottom with "Two towers" mark, N.S., later stamped with D.S. - the mark for the plating quality. Cohr used DS marking from 1931 on. The two towers mark was introduced in Denmark in 1921 and used between 1921-1929 for the silver plated items...
