Mid-Century Modern French earthenware pitcher signed accolay,
Beautiful ceramic pitcher decorated with geometrics decor.
The use of a dark earthenware color brings out the elegant contrast of the decoration. This is a beautiful textured ceramic with a nice size. Perhaps used in a pitcher or even a vase as it is a very decorative piece.
Signed under the base.
In very good condition with some normal wear marks. Please take a good look at the pictures they complete the description.

Accolay ceramics had its golden age between 1945-1970 when four students of Alexandre Kostanda: André Boutaud, Slavik Palley, Louis Dangon and Raude set up their workshop in this small french village. Accolay is a joint signature combining the work of several potters they produced emblematic pieces of French ceramics.
