Midcentury Iridescent Pink "A Scavo" Murano Glass Italian Vase, 1930s

About the Item

Fantastic iridescent pink vase with double handle in "A Scavo" Murano glass. This fantastic piece was designed in Italy during the 1930s. Beautiful vase in artistic Murano glass "a Scavo" technique. The "a scavo" technique can be obtained through the application, to the surface of an object, of substances that, when heated to about 1470°F (800°C), fuse and create an effect similar to weathering, thereby imitating glass from an archaeological excavation. This piece is in excellent condition without damage with iridescent shades and pink handles, it will smarten a classical living room. Dimensions (cm): Height 19 Width (with handles) 27 cm tall.
