Murano Glass Fazzoletto Vase/Bowl Zanfirico, Latticino - Bianconi suspected
Murano Glass Fazzoletto (handerchief) Vase or Bowl suspected to be by Bianconi. A nice size, it measures about 6.5" across at widest by about 3.5" tall at highest. It has a rather rare diagonal direction to the canes. The canes are as follows: Powder blue (no twist), Pink (twisted) and White (lattice) with Copper Aventurine twist inside each lattice. I believe it to be in nice vintage condition; I found no chips or cracks.
Measurements are approximate. The measurements for this piece vary; the ones given here are the tallest and the widest. Some areas are a little lower and less wide. In hand blown Murano glass there we sometimes be tiny particles of ash from the blowing process and this is not considered damage or flaw, but just natural from the process.
