Ovoid Turquoise Glass Vase with Optical Stripes by Holmegaard, 1950s

About the Item

A handblown turquoise glass vase manufactured by Holmegaard in Denmark during the 1950s. Beautiful deep turquoise in color and decorated internally with horizontal optical stripes that highlights the ovoid shape. Is has no signature but was probably a design sample from either Jacob Bang or Per Lütken.
