About the Item

A matched pair of antique Japanese vases of elongated shape with long flared necks. Meiji period, 1868-1913. The pieces are decorated with silver wired polychrome cloisonne enamel scenes depicting birds perching among branches of wisteria flowers against a glossy deep cobalt blue background. Attributed to Hayashi OVERALL GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. SIGNS OF WEAR AND AGE. REFER TO PHOTOS. EACH H 7 1/4 IN. ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE APPROXIMATE.
