Pair of Paris Porcelain Two-Handled Empire Vases, circa 1810

About the Item

The large center medallion with a tooled gilt scene depicting a cherub and a nymph in a landscape. The central portion of verso consisting of a green ground panel with upturned pineapples and garlands with fruit filled cornucopia on a chocolate brown ground, the sloping shoulders with green leafage on a green ground with heavily molded gilt vases.
