This elegant Mid Century Modern vase was realized by the esteemed maker Holmegaard in Denmark circa 1960. It offers an elongated spherical form with a rounded shoulders and a circular mouth- all in a subtle smoked translucent glass. This piece is a study in the simplicity of first rate design, economical in form, yet utterly captivating and compelling. While this vase is a perfectly functional vessel- ideal for presenting flowers- it is also an objet d'art in its own right that promises to add (more than) a touch of sophistication to any surface that it graces.
