About the Item
Beautiful set of 3 Dutch Mid-Century Modern pottery vases by the famous Mobach family.
Very decorative set of vases. Together they form a beautiful and atmospheric trio, like a scene from a painting of Italian painter Giorgio Morandi. The three differently shaped vases combine beautifully and are ready to decorate a sideboard or table. All three are chimney-shaped, but all in a different creative way. The ribbed exterior and the beautiful dark tones ensure coherence.
The large vase has a beautiful conical silhouette, running from a wide base to a narrower top.
The middle vase in size has a more classic bottle shape, but executed very delicately with exactly the right proportions.
The smallest vase is a remarkable and beautiful design. It is oval shaped and also slightly conical. A great shape.

Mobach
Since the establishment, five generations of Mobachs have been working with a team of staff in a historic building on Kanaalweg, Utrecht. Throughout the century, the method hardly changed. All ceramics are thrown on the wheel or shaped by hand from coils or sheets of clay. The ceramic pieces, such as the bodies of this set, owe their distinctive look to the exclusive glazes, which are composed according to the company’s recipe. Due to the high firing temperature, Mobach ceramics are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
