About the Item
A museum quality rare example of the infamous factory of J & L Lobmeyr of Vienna, Austria, maker of stemware and decorative glass for European Royalty. This piece exhibits all of the details of the intricate craftsmanship of this factory with applied handles and all over engraving that contrasts a matte finish to the polished body. It is signed on the solid base providing a low center of gravity to ensure stability. Made in Austria ca. 1880's Excellent condition commensurate with age. No defects at all.
