Sonia Lewis Studio Ceramic Celadon Glazed Bottle Vase
About the Item
A stunning studio ceramic porcelain bottle shaped vase decorated in celadon green glazes by renowned Cambridgeshire based potter Sonia Lewis acquired from a large collection and believed to date from the latter 20th century. This finely potted vase stands on a rounded unglazed foot and is of tall slender form with a tall funnel shaped neck. The vase has a protruding slice cut flat ridge to one side of the neck with a slighty angled neck and is decorated in bright celadon green glazes. The vase has an impressed artists seal mark to the base along with an artists label and various exhibition labels. Sonia Lewis with seal mark.
Provenance: Acquired from a large private collection and acquired in the UK Art Market.
