Stunning flower vase, ceramic, artistic run glaze, Art Deco, 1920, Belgium

About the Item

This is a wonderful example of an Art Deco flower vase from Belgium, made in the 1920s. This narrow, high-rising vase is made of ceramic and shows a round base with a body divided into two in the design. The bottom is smooth and the top is twisted with raised waves running downwards. In addition to the design of the body, the glaze of the vase is very elaborate, the black, shimmering basic color is accentuated by dabs of green and yellow. Measurements approx.: height 15,55 in - 39,5 cm, diameter 5,51 in - 14 cm The yellow bottom of the vase reads: made in Belgium. This extraordinarily elegant vase is an original from the Art Deco period and a high-quality ceramic object.
