Swedish Mid-Century Modern Ceramic Vase 1950s

About the Item

This beautiful piece is part of the artist's "Argenta" Series, produced for the Gustavsberg Factory, which won him his first major success. “Argenta” was introduced at the Stockholm exhibition in 1930 and became Wilhelm Kåge’s most widely appreciated and commercially successful line of decorative stoneware. The series includes everything from ashtrays to urns-- primarily in a green glaze with sterling silver details.
