Tin crackle Sonoor vase by A.D. Copier for Leerdam, The Netherlands 1938

About the Item

The 'Sonoor' vase, model VS0154, was designed by Andries Dirk Copier for the Leerdam glass factory in The Netherlands in 1938. The Sonoor series, with crackled glass, were the first developed vases by Copier. He was inspired to make these vases after seeing an exhibition with archaeological glass. This vase with a beautiful warm amber colour is in a very good condition, with very light signs of age. The vase is documented in the book "Copier Complete', page 379.
