Very Large Colorful French Ceramic Vase, 1960s

About the Item

This berry-colored ceramic vase feels very much of the 1960s. The deep, raspberry red and candy blue colors are strewn around the vase like tie-dye the red blooms across the widest part of the vase and trails down the bottom over the blue background, ending in striking sharp points. Later, the blue peeks out again near the neck as the red stretches like fingers toward the top. The result is an eye-catching, colorful work of art that feels at once exuberant and organic. Indeed, if the colors don’t capture your attention, the size of this vase will, measuring 97 cms tall. The artful piece was crafted by a French.
