This is a vintage Imari revival flower vase. A Chinese, ceramic decorative display urn, dating to the late 20th century, circa 1980.
Vibrant red and blue palette a hallmark of the Imari taste
Displaying a desirable aged patina throughout
Bulbous baluster shape ceramic painted upon a white ground
Decorative panels alternate in blue and red with foliate and figural scenes
Accentuated with deft touches of gold paint, to great effect upon the slender blue neck
Red character mark applied to the base of the vase
