Wonderful Mid-Century Modern vase by Barnaby Marriott Powell for British / English glass manufacturer Whitefriars glass, circa 1938. This beautiful bright ruby red wave ribbed vase with a classic funnel form captured in vivid, vibrant red coloured / colored mouth blown molded glass. This represents a very early model in the production history of Whitefriars Glass.
Model number 8473
Original paper label is still intact. A rare find - this is the larger of the two models produced.
