About the Item

"Pair of Bohemian German green glass wine goblets / roemers featuring hand blown prunts and painted with an enameled design of a regal German coat of arms / crest / shield with crown, griffon and castle, with gilded accents. Marked 1726. A rummer / roemer was a type of large drinking glass studded with prunts to ensure a safe grip, popular mainly in the Rhineland and the Netherlands from the 15th through the 17th century.
