Antique Sterling Overlaid Stag Horn Corkscrew by Theiry & Crosselmire
About the Item
19th century silver overlaid stag horn corkscrew of "T"-form. The handle made from a 4" section of stag horn overlaid with sterling to conform to the irregular surface of the antler and with cutout areas exposing the underlying horn. The handle is attached to a shaped shank with faceted knops above the steel helix. Stamped "Sterling" on the faceted disk, just above the helix.
