An exceptional, fine and impressive antique George V English sterling silver drinks tray; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection
This exceptional antique George V sterling silver drinks tray has a rectangular form with rounded corners.
The surface of this silver tray is plain and unembellished.
The raised rounded border of this antique 1930s sterling silver drinks tray is encompassed with applied gadroon decoration to the rim.
The tray is fitted with a fine pair of turned painted wood handpieces, supported by swept sterling silver brackets.

This antique 1930s sterling silver drinks tray is an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition.
This tray has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the tray are very clear.

The body of this large silver goblet is embellished with bright cut engraved suspended leaf festoons accented with ribbon bow motifs and interlacing swags. The decoration to the body incorporates a large oval vacant cartouche to either side. The upper portion of the goblet is encompassed with bright cut engraved interlacing and scalloped borders below an applied moulded rim. The knop to the stem is encircled with a bead decorated border. The foot is ornamented with further bright cut engraved simplified leaf festoon decoration accented with a scalloped border to the rim.
