Fine George II Half Pint Mug Made in London in 1758 by Thomas Moore

About the Item

The mug stands on a circular spreading foot decorated with reeding. The main body is baluster shaped in form, with an everted rim. This example has a plain scroll handle and the front is engraved with a contemporary crest. The mug is in exceptional condition and is very well marked in the foot. Measure: Height 3.5 inches, 8.75cm. Diameter of the foot 2.75 inches, 6.88cm. Weight: 6oz.
