A large English martini or cocktail shaker of fine plate silver from the Art Deco era with a music box under the base, featuring a hammered body of tapering form, removable top and pour spout with screw-down cap, angular handle, and decorative banding on the cap and body.
The base has a mechanism that intermittingly plays the song "How Dry I Am" when it is wound and the trigger activated.
