About the Item
Elkington & Co. pair of silver-plated chargers of The Seasons
English, circa 1870

These exquisite decorative silver-plated, or electrotype, chargers were manufactured by the highly renowned Victorian silversmiths, Elkington & Co. The four seasons and twelve months are depicted on the chargers – two seasons and six months on each.
