Silver Plated Bronze Jardinière in the Louis XV Style, 19th Century
About the Item
Important oval jardinière of Louis XV style, dating from the end of the 19th century. This centerpiece serving as a jardinière in silvered bronze, with its curved forms and leafy motifs, rests on four feet. A frieze makes the perimeter and two handles decorated with garlands of leaves complete its aesthetic movement. It has a removable silver-plated interior and is engraved on the reverse "Alice 11 May 1899".
